1. Purpose

These terms of service govern access to and use of the Kalanso platform, operated by GLOBAL'YS AFRIQUE SARL. Kalanso is a WhatsApp-based education platform enabling learners to access courses, quizzes and certificates.

2. Service description

Kalanso provides educational courses delivered via WhatsApp. Learners interact with a chatbot that delivers lessons, quizzes and generates completion certificates. The kalanso.africa website enables certificate authenticity verification.

3. Registration

Registration is done by sending a message to Kalanso on WhatsApp. Learners are identified by their phone number. No account creation or password is required.

4. Free access

Access to courses, quizzes and certificates is free and unlimited. The Pro plan is optional and unlocks advanced features. No payment is required to access educational content.

5. Pro plan

The Pro plan is billed at 3,000 FCFA/month with no commitment. Learners can cancel at any time. Pro unlocks advanced tools (AI paths, mentoring, export) but does not restrict access to free courses.

6. Learner obligations

Learners agree to:

  • Use the platform for educational purposes
  • Not distribute course content without authorization
  • Not use bots or scripts to interact with the service
  • Respect other learners in shared spaces

7. Certificates

Kalanso certificates attest to course completion and quiz scores. They are verifiable online via a unique code. They do not constitute state-recognized academic degrees.

8. Intellectual property

Course content (texts, images, quizzes) is the property of GLOBAL'YS AFRIQUE SARL. Learners have a personal, non-transferable right of use.

9. Data protection

Personal data processing is governed by our privacy policy. Learners can exercise their rights by writing to contact@kalanso.africa.

10. Liability

GLOBAL'YS AFRIQUE SARL cannot be held liable for service interruptions, errors in educational content, or the learner's use of acquired knowledge.

11. Terms modification

GLOBAL'YS AFRIQUE SARL reserves the right to modify these terms. Learners will be informed via WhatsApp of any substantial changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Ivorian law. In case of dispute, the courts of Grand-Bassam shall have jurisdiction.
